The future of India in fast changing world scenario lies in universalization of quality education. After political independence India has taken big strides in creating infrastructure required for developing science and technology. The vision of first Prime Minister Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was turned into action by Indian scientists under the leadership of Dr.Homi Bhabha & Dr. Vikram Sarabhai. The benefits of this progress have to reach to the masses. Revolution in information and communication technology (ICT) has provided a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between two poles of Indian society viz. a metropolis and a tiny village.

Thanks to ICT and Indian IT industry, quality inputs in education from amateurs and professionals are now available to motivated teacher located at far interior place. With the help of ICT my village teacher will be able to create a virtual classroom facilitating young creative minds to create future India. I am not undermining the importance of real experiences generated though a direct interaction between a teacher and her pupils but she will be more effective through advanced resources. Shaikshanik Sadhan Kendra i.e. Educational Resource Center is exactly for the same.
